Tino Kadewere set to join Bénie Traoré in making Nantes move

According to L’Équipe and Ouest-France, Olympique Lyonnais’ Tino Kadewere (27) is expected to join FC Nantes on a loan deal that will continue an obligatory purchase clause.

Nantes are wasting no time in the transfer window. Les Canaris, who are once again in a relegation battle, are set to lose Moses Simon and Mostafa Mohamed to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). However, Nantes look set to quickly compensate for both absences.

Kadewere’s loan to include low purchase option

As reported by Ouest-France earlier on Tuesday, Sheffield United forward Bénie Traoré (21) is set to join Jocelyn Gourvennec’s side. According to L’Équipe, that loan will include an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

Kadewere is now also set to join Les Canaris. Lyon and Nantes are close to agreeing a deal with the player expected in Brittany on Wednesday. The deal will include an obligatory option to make the deal permanent, which will be triggered if Nantes maintain their Ligue 1 status. The purchase option will be “very low”, according to L’Équipe.
